The QTAC 125HP is identical to the high pressure 85HP, but carries an additional 40 gallons of water. Weighing approximately 1,400 pounds full of water, the 125 is outside the payload capacity of most UTVs, but it works perfectly in pick-up trucks. The 125HP features a 125-gallon, baffled and welded-copolymer tank, max-105 GPM pump with a 5.5-horsepower Honda GX200 engine and 75-feet of 3/4′′ hose. Like all the QTACs, the 125HP’s main design purpose is to either prevent fires, or snuff them out upon first ignition. With the Scotty around-the-pump foam system and either 5.0 or 2.5-gallons of Foam A on board, the applicator can lay down a wet blanket of short-term fire suppressant up to 80 feet in length, for well over 14 minutes of constant use. And like all QTACs, the 125HP can draft out of an external water source and pump through the discharges at the same time.
